MNCM
I don't think you can be charged with possession, but if there is a zero-tolerance policy for use like there is most schools; its a violation of that standard.
lawildcat
Kinda what im asking, what could be the charge. Possession? Techincally your still in possession of the chemicals of the drug. Other than being arrested for being under the influence at the time of the drug's affect, you cannot be charged with a crime for having a drug in your system. You have to physically possess something to be in possession of it.

AllenR
If its in your system are you not in possession of it? I know someone, who shall remain nameless, that had a similar discussion with some police officers in the early 90s at/near NKU. The officers came to his "house" and wanted to cite him for possession by a minor. With nothing in hand or near by, just what had been consumed. Discussion continued around whether the ingested bourbon was considered possession. PI didn't apply since it was inside the house. He got a short ride to the Highlands Heights police station, but released shortly after arriving since neither applied... :isurrender:

silo11
Cager has informed his teammates he will be able to play by the end of the week. Apparently there was issue with how the policy is worded. According to a source, one test Cager took was not enough to be a positive, but got charged with a positive anyways. He retook the test the next day, and it was deemed negative. An agreement has been made between the district and Cager's lawyer. It looks like he will be able to play. @chrisjung did a great 2 part piece on the situation. I'll leave it at that.
