I thought their line executed well. The Backfield did a good job with two very good backs and Dawson when they went to the bone.

Their offensive line did execute well. :lol2:

My initial statement was that their offensive line was extremely undersized that year.

Playing on the road is always a concern but this coaching staff has always had their teams ready to play on the road deep in the playoffs. 2001 Boyle beat an outstanding Hopkinsville team 28-21 at the Stadium of Champions. 2003 went to play all-american Joe Casey and Hunter Cantwell at Paducah Tilghman an won 35-21 when they was not only rated the best team in class 3A but the entire state of Kentucky. 2010 Boyle went to log mountain and came home with a 25-21 win. All of these where road semi-final games that Boyle won to advance on to the finals. The only loss was a heartbreaking 2008 loss to Bell County 15-17 when Boyle had 5 turnovers. My point is Boyle will be ready as ever Friday night and IMO playing at E-Town will not bother the team.

My only concern is the experience that this years senior Elizabethtown team has and the youth on Boyle's side. This is a big game and pressure will be felt by both sides. Boyle has in the past traveled but have been a little shocked at home lately. Boyle County needs to travel well for this game and make their presence known.

Everybody do the Rebel Rumble.......Everybody......Rumble! Who Ya With!

Away game. Young team. I never doubt Coach Smith and staff. I know he will have this team ready but anything can happen with a young team.

For what it's worth I think Boyle County will win by a few touchdowns.

2 HOF coaches lining their ball clubs up for the semi's...is there anything better?? Should be a great game!

This is a great test for Boyle County, by far the best team Boyle has faced all year.

I do feel Boyle is the better team and matches up well with this veteran Etown team.

I also think the team that makes the fewest mistakes wins the game.

Boyle County 31

Elizabethtown 24

How's the seating? What's the capacity of the stadium?

It's not near big enough seating to hold the crowd that they will have tonight. The visitor side is small & their home side doesn't seat as many as you think. They allow people to bring their own chairs and sit around the track. There is a hillside to the right as you walk into the stadium where many people will watch the game from, both E-town and visitors.

It's a first class facility and they were able to build something that many districts never will be able to put together, but the only knock I have and others will tell you the same thing- even E-town folks, but the seating could be better.

Thanks, I'll try and get there early.

Jack I have a pic but it's too large to post in here. Just go to google earth and enlarge in Elizabethtown and you can get a great high res image of the schools football stadium.

Hatz, your link is a Steely Dan Black Friday song, was it suppose to be an E-Town stadium link?

Black Friday is Coming Jack! :thumb:

Per the Etown AD additional vistor seating is being brought in to accomodate Boyle Fans

I got ya, I read your post about 6:30 or so this morning I hadn't woke up yet. I hope Black Friday comes in a big way in E-Town this evening, will Boyle be in all Black or just half?

Thanks Rebel I'll do that.
