Someone mentioned above that the gate is split after expenses. I assume that includes travel costs. If true, expenses are a non factor. The only item I see in this thread that CCH is losing out on is concessions. How many people would be expected to attend Highlands at CCH? How many people will be in attendance for CCH at South Oldham? Is it possible attendance is higher at South Oldham? Depends on how big South Oldham's stadium is and their attendance.

The gate is split after officials and trophies are paid for. That's the only "expenses" that are taken off the top.

The visiting school has to pay for travel out of their cut.
