Plus I did not hear comments from him bellyaching that they are playing mostly frosh and sophomores. Never missed a home game in the Mumme Era. Have yet to enter Commonwealth this year and do not plan to go either. I listen or watch but will not go while AARP man and Archer are down there. Good. Don't need you. I'm not a fan of Brooks or Archer, which I documented but Mumme did not comply with NCAA rules or govern others, while at UK. If given a choice between Mumme or Brooks, I'll take Brooks every time. His offensive was certainly exciting to watch but doesn't excuse the fact, of the probation under his watch.

October 18, 200619 yr I spoke to a player that was recruited by UK when Mumme was here ,and he told me this. Basset was taking them through Nutter feildhouse and pointed at the pictures of the academic all-americans and said that's what's wrong with this place. We don't need academic all-amercans we just need football players. Then I hear Mumme on the radio when asked if he was stressing about an upcoming game he said not as much as the players I've got my Wild Turkey and they're under 21 so they can't. About 3 weeks later is when the auto accident took place killing a UK player in which I believe drinking was involved. What a classy couple of guys, boy I sure do miss them.

His team at NMSU is vastly improved. This is the same Basset that claimed to have a degree in Constitutional Law from Harvard.:lol: By the way, I don't miss Claude Basset the Recruiting Coordinator, but in a very weird way I miss Claude Basset the person. Take away the very bad and he was a lot of very good.
