October 10, 200619 yr So, just so I'm clear. UC is good enough to play tight at tO$U and Va Tech, but will get demolished at UL. Just to be clear, of course... I do not have a horse in the race... but would like to throw fuel into the fire I would not invest a whole lot into playing tO$U tight.. classic trap game and classic trap performance. Va Tech I will buy because I do not think they are that great of a team.
October 10, 200619 yr I would not invest a whole lot into playing tO$U tight.. classic trap game and classic trap performance. Shenanigans. When you go into #1s house, and put a scare in them for 35-40 minutes, it can't be discounted when looking at the talent on UC's roster...
October 10, 200619 yr Shenanigans. When you go into #1s house, and put a scare in them for 35-40 minutes, it can't be discounted when looking at the talent on UC's roster... Discounted? No. It was a good performance by the Bearcats. But 9 times out of 10, UC would not be able to put a "scare" into tO$U like they did, and you know it (btw, this is the first time I have used the $ sign, I kind of like it:D ). And don't forget you proper citations, gametime

And don't forget you proper citations, gametime Well, the last time UC played tO$U they dropped three TD passes in the endzone to win the game. I think tO$U ended pretty strong that year...
October 10, 200619 yr Author And don't forget you proper citations, gametime I had a feeling he'd get busted for that.
October 10, 200619 yr I think UC can't keep up with this power team like they have played descent against OSU and VTECH. I just don't see them getting it done against the Cards. UofL 45 or more Cincy 14 or less
October 10, 200619 yr C-J had an article on Brohm today, and he was quoted as saying the thumb was "60-65%." FWIW, I think Brian sits the Cincy game and comes out and starts against Syracuse. I really don't think Petrino will even suit him up if he's not going to start against the Bearcats, and with only a week to try and get back in the groove, I just don't see it happening. Well, that's not what I am hearing, besides the more "game speed" he sees the better. If his thumb does not HURT, he will play.
October 10, 200619 yr So, just so I'm clear. UC is good enough to play tight at tO$U and Va Tech, but will get demolished at UL. Just to be clear, of course... I understand how good they are....but I do think (and this will sound weird), that U of L plays better at home, than both VaTech and OSU. (noises from the comittee ).....I think U of L will be extremely fired up....UC I also feel lacks some confidence against the 'Ville. side note: While OSU's offense is every bit as good as U of L's (maybe better), VaTech's is not. I do think that U of L will have the most sophisticated offense that the Bearcats will play.
October 14, 200619 yr Author Thought I should bring this one back to the top since tomorrow is GameDay.
