Predictions for this big district matchup??

Lots at stake with this game more than likely the winner is the #4 seed in playoffs and the loser goes home. Cumberland 28 Lynn Camp 21 good luck to both teams.

Could go down to the wire if Cumberland plays with intensity. Where is the game being played? I'll take the home team in this one.

I can't see Cumberland stopping Lynn Camp's running game. This could be a really close ball game though. In the end I think this could be the fourth year in a row that Cumberland doesn't make the playoffs.

Cumberland has not helped themselves by playing better competion in non district games, it seems that they are always 7-3 ,6-4 ,and not making the playoffs. Phelps, Jenkins and sisters of the poor do not help make your team into a playoff ready team. So I see the Campers winning and getting Big Dave back where he belongs. In the hunt.

We're playing at LC. Kick off is 8 O'clock. Don't know much about Cumberland this year, just kind of figuring that they'll be a typical Cumberland team again this year, just like the last 50 years, and this is always a strange game for these 2 teams. Anything can and usually does happen. Last time we played at LC, Cumberland was up 28-0 late in the 3rd and lost 30-28. I'm going to be a homer this week and pick LC by 7+, but knowing it could easily go the other way fast. This will probably be the last ever meeting between these two, so the winner gets to claim victory for eternity.

I wish I could make this game but I will be on my way to Baton Rouge Friday night. Cumberland and Lynn Camp are pretty similar teams. Both have potential to be really good if they want to be. Both have nice lines and skill players. Really it's hard to tell who will win this game. I have a feeling that this will wind up being for 3rd place in the district.

 

I wish both teams the best and though I think the world of a lot of the Lynn Camp boys, I gotta go with my blood and that bleeds Marron and White.

Did anyone on here say that Cumberland was Pineville? I must have missed that.

LC is not a defensive power house, but they are doing o.k. in the district. Cumberland has given up some points to lesser teams. THAT could decide this game.

Can LC stop Cumberland's multiple threats and can the 'Skins stop "only" Roskoph? He did have 446 yds. against Pineville, but he also had over 200 against the district's best defense in the loss to Harlan. Going to be interesting.
