Which slasher series is your favorite?

Halloween

Double post

I honestly never really got into any of them.

I would have voted for Chucky lol.

Friday the 13th.

Though I'm a fan of most of them, Halloween will always be my favorite. I was probably a little too obsessed with Halloween when I was a kid/teenager. I think I dressed as Michael Myers like 5 different times. The theme song (although not really a song and more like 3 notes played over and over) was my ringtone for a solid two years in middle school.

Something adorable about Freddy. He was menacing, but he was always good for a few laughs and enjoyed his trade. Gotta appreciate a guy that loves his job and didn't take it too seriously.

I vote Nightmare on Elm Street.

Who wins in a battle to the death Michael Myers/ Jason/ Freddy/ or Leatherface?

Jason or Freddy. They're not human.

Freddy made you not want to go to sleep.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released in 1974. The sequel in 1986 and then a bunch of variants after 1990. I don't think this one qualifies as an 80's series.

I watched the original the other day and it was just flat out bad.

Halloween

Stronger at the top with some decent depth. Has the #1 seed over all in the original. Plus I really like the Rob Zombie remake of the original. His sequel is awful.

Like Halloween it is strong at the top but really jumps the rails beyond the top 4 or 5.

Nightmare on Elm Street

Might be the best top to bottom. Like most the bottom is terrible but overall strength runs pretty deep.

Texas Chainsaw

The remake is pretty solid but the original series is awful.

My vote is for Halloween. Through out the 3rd one and most of the series is pretty decent. And again it definitely has the best killer and best single movie.
