Little kid birthday party, I can't. Wife would destroy me.

No it wont, not enough officials state wide for that.

 

I didn't make it to any of the meeting this season but I get updated from a few I officiate with, and they seem to think thats the case.

Also the smaller schools have a hard time justifying the extra pay for extra officials. Ive talked to plenty of coaches who would love 7 man crews but the schools wont pay.

In the more passing style offense we are seeing across the state, 7 man crews are really needed, but the manpower is not there to do it.
