This game will determine the number 2 and 3 seeds in the district.

so do we know the 4 seed yet?

The winner of next weeks Lewis Co. - West Carter Tiff?

Bath County with the "upset" by a TD.

Interesting that the 2 people on here that seem to agree with me are from Fleming County, who has played both Bath County and Russell on the road.

What's the status of Cameron Corbin? I noticed him on crutches on the sideline during the game against Fleming. Obviously, he's not as integral to Bath County's success as Swartz, but he's an important part of their offense.

@Pick-six, care to provide your unbiased opinion on this one, assuming you've seen both?

I think Bath County is dangerous on offense! They run a unique offense that really out numbers you at the point of attack. Pretty sure that Russell has not played a team that runs it. Add to that the Schwartz kid is a stud and seems perfect for this offense. He is very patient and reads his blocks well. If they can hold onto the ball and eat clock, they are a dangerous group.

Defensively, Bath is not as strong. If they can get some stops or force turnovers, they can make things interesting.

Russell has more weapons and Bath running the ball takes pressure off their young Db's.

All in all, I hope it is a great game. I think our district games being competitive are good for everybody.

On a side note, most of Bath's main players are juniors and I think they will really be tough next year!!

That's an excellent point. I have my doubts as to whether or not Bath can take advantage of Russell's biggest weakness on defense, which is the inexperienced secondary. If Bath is one dimensional, that helps Russell out a great deal.

Russell's Defensive Line is most likely the best in the district and the best that Bath has faced all year coupled with Russell's discipline on defense it will be tough sledding for Bath on the ground. If Russell isn't to conservative on offense they will put up 30+ on Bath.

Russell by 3 TDs

Cameron Corbin is a huge part of Bath offense and he will be out for the rest of tgr year. He hurt his knee against Lewis. Hate it for Cam as he worked really hard in the off season to improve his body.
