Danville barely beat Somerset. LCA, we will wait and see. Really, it is a 2 horse race.

Whether of not Mayfield is good enough to win it all is debateable, not because they aren't that good, but, because of how good some of these other teams are. Personally, I really like this years Mayfield team.. I was worried going in, if they had the quarterback play good enough to lead them to a championship, but, I'm not worried about that any longer.. I think they have a couple of really good ones that can lead the team just fine.. The OL is very good as neither QB has been sacked or pressured much at all.. While they don't have a Trajon Bright at the RB spot, they do have 3 or 4 kids capable of carrying the rock effectively and all have good speed.. The WR's are exceptional.. There defense has looked great at times and a little shaky at others, but, I do feel the DL is better than last year and the secondary about the same with the LBs a notch or 2 below last years group.. Also, the special teams have played very well although they don't have near the placekicker as last year.. Overall, a little deeper offensively with a better OL, but, not quite the star power that Landon and Trajon brought to the table.. Defensively, a step below on the back end and a step above in the trenches.. I think this years team would certainly hold it's own vs last years and I fully expect they'll be a very tough out for whoever they may meet in the playoffs..

Well good thing them 2 horses have to play each other to even get to the finals. So technically it's more than a 2 horse race considering Danville, Newcath, an LCA could beat Mayfield an DeSales this yr!

Purely speaking football, nothing would make me happier than NewCath bringing another title to the Hill. They have playmakers that nobody talks about or cares to know about. My concern is in the depth on the lines.

If you watched the line play against CAL you would see that's where they won the game. There all healthy again. An your right on the playmakers they have numerous. I'm speaking football to and whoever thinks it a 2 horse race will be shocked in the end.
