Belmont is a D-1 school that plays in the Sun Atlantic Conference.

 

Whitney averaged 15.4 pt. pg & 5.4 rebounds. She holds the schol record for steals with 127 and is on pace to break the all-time scoring record this season.

Congratulations to Whitney. She is a great player, and I'm sure she'll excel at the college level. That's another Division 1 scholarship for the 16th region. :dancingpa :dancingpa

I agree!! It would be a coaches dream to put together a team with all that talent. The other things is that these young ladies are all great students.

They are coached by Tony Cross who in 21 seasons has a record of 450-196. Belmont was the regular season champion in their conference & received a bid in the women's NIT. They finished last season 22-8
