I agree, Casey's opponents so far have a combined 8 wins...and Bell County has 4 of them.

9th worst schedule in Class 3A to this point per Calpreps. However, on their behalf, they've handled their business quite well and somewhat unexpectedly after some key losses from last year's team. I'm anxious to see how they play against Corbin. Until then we probably can't get a true read on them.

Happy for Casey but the can't beat Corbin and Western Hills will not beat LexCath. No chance.

I'm very anxious to see their result tonight. If they get blasted by Central then I'm completely off the bus. If they win (or play very close) then I'll consider them top 10.

How bout the Casey at Corbin matchup on 10/20? Casey should be undefeated heading into that game. Any chance they win? Would it even be an upset?

 

I believe that Corbin will win, but also believe that it will be a very competitive game, especially if Casey Co. can eliminate the turnovers that hurt them in the Bell Co. game.

 

Last years playoff matchup between these two was a very good game with Corbin pulling away late after leading by less than a TD heading into the 4th quarter.

 

I am very impressed with the Casey Co. coaching staff and the job they have done there, so I wouldn't count them out just yet.
