Since you haven't seen any of Ncc games or opponents you must be going on hearsay, Westsider? Mayfield and NCC have both played quality schedules but Mayfield has done a better job. I would actually put Mayfield around 4th with 3rd as their high point. I actually think Mayfield has been under ranked for several seasons. Take last season, Mayfield was ranked around 4th most of the season with Bardstown ranked around 1st or 2nd all season, Mayfield handled them very well. Bardstown was ranked #1 in Bluegrasspreps going into that game.

You could have made it from the beginning. Now it sounds like you're changing course. It sure seemed like you were being critical of NewCath's ranking in the beginning.

 

 

I was..I feel they were ranked too high and still do...When Mayfield was 2-5 against the likes of Eville North, Hopkinsville, Tighman, Marshall and the like, they were ranked in the 9-10 range and even fell out for a few weeks..I don't see the difference...NCC may well do like Mayfield did a few yrs ago and if they do, fine, more power to them...Just don't see where they should be #4 right now...Thats all I'm saying..

NewCath has played a brutal schedule ... that is why they are 2-5. The same thing happened to Mayfield a few years ago and people wrote them off, only to see them get to the semifinals and push Danville to the brink.

 

This is my point exactly...People wrote them off, but, the same isn't being done to NCC...You didn't see Mayfield at 2-5 ranked in the Top 4, did you?

However, your opinion is based on the fact that you think Newcath has a tougher schedule, whereas I think they have equally tough schedules..............sooooooooo................

The NewCath team that I saw Saturday isn't a top 4 team. Beechwood may not be a top 4 team. However, NewCath is a top 10 team, and in my opinion, will play Beechwood again in the second round as #3 visiting the #1.
