Back to back tough losses for the Royals. Was impressed with what I heard from Bourbon County

Mason's three losses have been by 4 to Fleming County, giving up a 90-something yard drive in the final 2 minutes, an OT district loss to Scott and a one-point district loss to Bourbon. Competitive but having a tough time closing out games.

Mason scores with 41 seconds to go and calls a timeout and decide to go for two. Ran a QB roll out and he got killed. Play had no chance. Mason had several players hurt tonight is one of the main reasons he went for two. Great job by Chandler Dunaway on a 16 yard run to tie the game. Great effort!!!!!!!

Great game. Mason County is for real. Too bad someone had to lose. Those kids battled all night. Good luck the rest of the season and in the playoffs.

Congrats on the close win. MC seems to have improved a lot from last season.

From this thread it appears Mason decided to go for two to win with 41 seconds left. Can anyone explain that decision? Weak Mason kicker? Momentum all Bourbon's? Cannot stop Bourbon and felt lucky to have chance to win?

Shane Sizemore - TE/MLB injured in the 1st q against bourbon big loss for a team that doesn’t have that much depth. hopefully nothing serious

Mason county is missing key guys that’s really going to hurt them with playoffs approaching .

IMO this the best 3-3 team in 4A who could be very easily be 6-0 .

Shane Sizemore is done for season according to his dad. Will have surgery in about 3 weeks. Talk to jalen lofton he told me he should be ready this week.

You are right could of been 6-0. Hopefully we can win the next 2. I believe we will be okay
