QB Jaden Stinson was named WYMC Player of the Game.. Not sure what his final stats were, but, he was 8 for 9, 256 yards and 3 TDs in 1st half alone..

Great game Cardinals!

I'll give Murray some credit...their 1st string looked good against Mayfield's 3rd string.

I believe Mayfield scaled practice back this week and it appeared to help. Seemed like the team had more energy and some pep that had gone missing the last couple of weeks. Not perfect obviously, but pretty solid win.

As for Murray, well, their band is the favorite to take state this year, so they got that going for them.

The powers in 2A roll on.

That's funny right there, don't care who you are.

You know what boys, the last time I checked Mayfield didn't win the State Championship last year.

If we had stayed in 1A, this year would have been our 6th State Championship in a row.

As a Beechwood fan I am thankful Mayfield is in 2A.

Now, please, back to Mayfield and Murray.

Where did that come from?

No making fun of teams.
