Maysville 22
I was at the game. Not trying to argue but the refs help Scott in 1st half no pass interference and Scott holding pretty much the 1st half. I tell it way I see it . Mason also shot them self in foot in first half. This is my opinion.

sumoroyal
Mason had lots of chances to win this game. Drop a easy interception in a tie game, overthrow a wide open receiver on fourth down in overtime. Just kept shooting ourselves in the foot. And yes, referees were terrible. Maysville 22
You are correct sir. I seen what you seen. We also had a fumble on a drive in 1st half when it was 14-7. And we couldn't convert on 3rd and 4 th downs on drives. We had our chances. Defense shut out Scott in 2nd half until overtime.
Gowildcats12
Mason county’s d just didn’t have a answer for Scott mainly the Perrin brothers, the first 3 drives but after that they held Scott scoreless until overtime. Mason County was down 21-7 at the end of the first offense nor defense was clicking , lofton got hurt and Scott was looking to blow this thing open in the 3rd but then Henry strips Perrin when Scott was approaching the red zone of the 2nd half opening drive and couple Possession later Devine ran the ball in. 21-14 Scott . Assuming kick off Henry recovers the pouch kick for the royals. But the royals would turn the ball over on downs as Scott’s d stuffed Devine on a 4th and 2, late in the 3rd Scott facing that same 4th and 2 and get stopped short by a lot of royals . Early in the 4th dunaway hits Boyd on a post route for a 22 yd touchdown . 21-21 . Scott has the ball with about 7 mins to go and ohmer looking deep on a 2nd and 14 And Leevi dunaway drops what might’ve been a pick six and it proved costly because on the very next play ohmer hits Perrin on a very well design screen call for a first down. Scott was moving the ball well ,until they get hit with an unsportsmanlike pentaly which would end up making them have 4th and 18 from mason 19 which would stall their drive. MC has the ball back and it’s now time for the 2 min drill 21-21 and the pentaly bug would hit Scott again on something I’m still confused about , which advanced the ball to Scott’s 30 , dunaway gets sacked and mason had to spike the ball as they had no timeouts which would end up making it 4th and 12 and they would turn the ball over on downs . Overtime we go mason County would have the first possession. first down Henry gets 5 yds 2nd down Devine gets maybe a yd 3rd down dunaways pass was incomplete , last chance for the royals 4th and 4 , dunaway scrambles advoids a lot of tacklers and heaves one up in the back of the end zone to a wide open receiver Henry and it goes right through his hands. First play for Scott ohmer hands it off to Perrin on a sweep and he takes it in for a 10 yd touchdown game . Scott 27 Mason 21 Hard fought game by both teams really glad I made the trip ! All In
How is Jaylen Lofton, heard on the radio he suffered a neck injury or stinger during the first half. Any news how he's doing?

The Royal One
After the game was over...I saw Lofton walking into the locker room. I heard one of the docs say everything checked out fine. So, he should be with the team next week.
The Royal One
Big numbers put up on the ground for these two teams. Scott: N. Perrin-14 carries, 168 yards, and 2 tds. Q. Perrin-18 carries, 110 yards, and a TD. Mason: Devine-27 carries, 162 yards, and 2TDs. One being a 90 yard kickoff return for a TD to start the game. This was a classic. Both teams left it all on the field. Hats off to both
