Committed to UK as a punter....congrats Ryno.

Well, I guess he ought to get a lot of work as a punter at UK.

Glad to have him. If they're using one of their relatively few schollies,he must be very, very good.

Can he stop the run?

Good question, I am not sure if there have been many if any opportunities for him to do so.

No, but he can take a second ball on the field and kick it at the runner and cleanly knock his head off at 30 paces.

Congrats. The kid is the real deal. But the CJ indicated Kentucky will use him as a punter. From what I've seen he can also kick at the 1A level.

Congrats to the young man. In response to the above posts, it seems he won't have to punt much.

UK's offense has played well this season. Now on D, well thats a matter I would rather not get started on.

If he can kick, he will get the chance.

Now if only there were some Bona Fide D-Coordinators out there for recruit!

Congrats!! It is always nice to see a kid get the chance to play at the next level and get an opportunity for a great education. I wish him well.

Apparently he hasn't punted much this year. I did go to their first game when he punted a few times. Awesome. Two of his punts that night were NFL caliber...45 plus yards with LOTS of hang time.

He's a good one, good snatch for UK

I'm really surprised considering his obvious ability, the Trinity/UofL connection, plus the fact that his brother was a former punter for the Cardinals, that he was not offered a scholarship by Bobby Petrino. Hasn't anyone else wondered about this?
