WOW

Right, I mean they hired their middle school coach.

Congrats Logan... give my crow well done..

My oh my. I sure did not expect this. I had Russellville a 3 TD favorite in this one.

I knew it would be a dog fight!! And I was right! Both teams gave it all tonight.

It was a Cat fight. Before what may have been the largest crowd in Rhea Stadium's long history.

Mac, is that a first for Logan County vs. Russellville?

The remaining schedule for Logan Co. Is very favorable. 8 & 2, 9 & 1?

That is the most I've seen at Rhea Stadium, broadcaster. HUGE turnout.

First win for Logan County in the series since 2011 (32-21). Folks probably think it has been longer than that due to the long losing streak between 2013-2016. Before the 2011 win, the Cougars last won in 2004 (41-21). They also won in 2000 (12-7), 2002 (20-14), and 2003 (41-21).

I want to say their 2 toughest remaining games will be vs. Madisonville and Hoptown. If they win one of those, a home playoff game is looking real possible.

How bout those Cougars! Never doubt Passion and Depth! Deadly combination!

Great job Cougars! Also keep your heads up Russellville. You can still go along way this season!

According to the schedule Hopkinsville travels to Logan County on October 5, a Thursday night game during fall break for several school systems around here. I think I will have to check out that game.
