Great game by the Yellowjackets.

Actually, the best chance is for the Detroit Lions to trade up for him :p

That would be a sure thing then. Matt Millen couldn't resist.

It all depends on who is picking...the way I see it you've got Quinn (QB), Peterson (RB) and Johnson (WR). At this point, it's hard for me to imagine one of those three not being #1.

Actually, now that I think about it...Quinn will probably go #1. Why? Because it's really hard to imagine anyone other than Oakland picking #1 the way things look right now.

:thumb: I agree and I am not so sure that I am not sold on Va. Tech, it is more that I am SOLD on Ga. Tech. That is a very good football team.

Good point, I'll back that up: sold on Ga. Tech, and not sold on Va. Tech.

I look for Ga. Tech to be top 10 by the end of this month.

Good win by Georgia Tech...A few people in the Michigan State thread wanted to bring up how the ND win over Michigan State was not as impressive now. So if your going to say that, then you have to start to say Notre Dames win over Georgia Tech in Georgia Tech was a much better win than people thought...
You're comparing a tilt between two ranked teams, to Michigan St (who some on here claimed was a 'good' team) losing to Illinois at home... the first Big 10 road victory for the Illini since 2002!

The scales do not balance.

I believe MSU has a very high amount of athletes, but do not neccessarily possess the talent to win a high amount of games. MSU, like many others, exposed to ND secondary, which is what they could not do against Illinois.

People thought Michigan State was a good team, and yeah now with this loss it does take away from ND's win over them. But also people were saying Georgia Tech was not that good of a team when Notre Dame beat them, and now Georgia Tech is showing they are. So yeah within this one week, ND's win over Michigan State does not seem that good at all now, but the Georgia Tech win keeps lookin better and better, and probably will even more as the season goes on. So that will end up balancing it out....

:thumb: :thumb: I agree, I predict that they will certainly make the weekly BGP top 10 very soon by some members (including myself);) I almost put them on my list this week.

I put them as 15 on my poll this week, but will move up soon, because they'll have more wins, and teams on the list will certainly have more losses.

BCS Bowl? - I say yes. Possibly a rematch with Notre Dame? I think they will win the ACC championship over Clemson, who will also be a top 20 team. BC will most likely fall off the map, and Wake Forest will lose 5 games: Clemson, BC, Florida State, Va. Tech, and I'm going to say they lose to Maryland also.

Calvin wont win the Heisman because Reggie Ball is not a good quarterback. I didnt watch this game but the few games Ive seen GT play, he has been pretty bad.

^ If I were a voter, I would vote for the most dominant player in America...That is Calvin, add to that a cruddy QB, and it makes him even more appealing. If he played on Michigan, or Louisville, it would be DISGUSTING.
