GRC has two losses by a combined 10 points to Tates Creek and Southwestern. They aren't going to be overwhelmed by the speed of Lincoln's 2 RB's, they are used to playing teams with more speed then that all the time.

If not for a late hit call in last years game that gave GRC a first down and led to a score, Lincoln I believe would have won that game. With that being said I believe Lincoln is much better this year that last year. Braxton Miller, who went out with an injury the second game of the season last year, has been a big difference maker in this years Patriot play. Lincoln will have to control the clock and contain the speed of GRC to win the game. It will be a hard fought game by both teams. A district title may be on the line or at least a chance for a title.

31 points sound like a lot on Lincoln's "D". The most LC has given up is 30 to PRP, which has speed to burn. Lincoln may not win the game but I don't think they give up 31 points to GRC.

 

It seems like Lincoln's defense and overall team speed is receiving little respect. As the season wears on, it is becoming obvious that there is more to this team than just the speedy running backs in Miller and Calhoun.

I think GRC will be ready for Lincoln.
