I think W-South would be just fine against Elder, West Lakota and Moe but they would not hang to well with Cincy St. X.

Hey NCF what do you think about Hilliard Davidson this year? Also I am making plans to go to the West Jeff / Fisher Catholic game in West Jeff, you ought to try and make it. It is on Oct. 13th.

Not that it matters, but they wouldn't be top five in Cincinnati.

I'm getting that impression because they are. Last year, they were rated near the top of the D-II poll all season, but took an early exit. This year, they aren't in the top 10 in D-II. That makes them down.

Watterson is tied for 11th in this Weeks DII AP poll. Big game for them this week against arch rival DeSales.

I agree. With three schools in Westerville the talent really is water down and that isn't couning the private school(Worthington Christian) who doesn't field a football team.
Agreed. Would have liked to have seen a more competitive game.

While Watterson isn't in the top 10 of D-II, they are currently 14th and have a good chance of finishing in the top 10 by the end of the season. Watterson's only loss, a 17 point loss to Westerville South, is looking better and better as the season wears on.

Agreed.

Good post. Certainly Watterson has a chance to jump into the D-II top 10 as soon as next week if they beat DeSales. If they make any kind of run in the playoffs, I'll be surprised. But, I didn't mean to say they were a bad team. Just not an elite team.

I guess it's realative. A not bad team team in Ohio can be an elite team in Kentucky.

This weeks DeSales/Watty game will be interesting.

Watterson is up to #1 in Ohio DII according to the latest Massey Ratings.

What are Massey Ratings? If it's anything like the Cantrell mess, thanks but no thanks.

Again, I never said Watterson was bad, just pointed out the facts. They beat DeSales in a close game. IMO two good football teams playing what was probably a fun game to watch.

I don't think any of that makes the Colonels loss to Watterson look any better in respect to where they want to get.
