Come on guys...Mercer is way better than Newport...the guys up north always have a hard time realizing not all their teams are great...:creepy:

If they played again next week, Mercer would probably win by 40+...

No disrespect meant.

None taken on my part. :thumb:

I went expecting Marinara sauce and got Alfredo.

If that's the case, then Mercer played their worst game tonight. And I have no dog in this fight other than being from NKY.

Talked to a friend at the game and he said MC's offense did not look in sync all night.

Namecips, would you say that NCC is only 20 points better than Newport?

I can't really comment since I have not seen NCC play this year. I get my chance for that tomorrow.

Congrats, once again, to the mighty Mercer County Titans. May your success continue.

That game was very close until late in the game. Neither team got much done offensively.

Blocked punt, TD seal win for 'Breds

Looks like the Coach should have stayed with the Camels, Did anyone hear that score. Camels were up big at half according to ICN 6.

Take that to the CC -vs- Scott thread. Don't act like they beat Boone or Dixie.

Nice win Mercer County. Where was this game played?

Newport

wow. even nicer win. It's hard to go into northern Ky and get out with a win.

Anyone from Campbell show up at that game. I saw Newport super and principal and many others. Score may be different but so is the level of interest and support.

Mercer's D was MVP tonite, game not as close as the score, Newport could not move the ball at all. Forced turnovers hurt Newport. 65 and 75 for Newport are players.

Mercer really had no big plays.
