Apparently a NCC coach sat in the stadium stands today and watched Cooper's practice. The stadium is open for track walkers etc so in a sense practices are open to the public.

 

My question is to the ethics of this. Do you think it is an issue? Should he have been asked to leave?

 

Not only are they getting insight into the team they play in two days by watching the field, but I assume it also has to alter the practice as the team on the field doesn't want to give things away.

 

Maybe teams do it all the time but I have not heard of it being so blatant.

Let me correct 1 thing. Guess the opposing coach wasn't in the stands, but in his car in a spot overlooking the field. Everyone saw him there including the Cooper coaching staff.

If I'm cooper I'm not happy. However it also tells me they're worried. If I'm the Cooper coach and I know we're superior (just a guess) then I'd pour it on Friday night.

No kidding, I came across a Fed Ex driver last week. He came to my door and handed me his phone. There was a Big Man on the other end of the line. All true.

Simple fix keep closed practices. I don't think he would see too much as the play calling in games may be a bit different than in practice. But all in all this game doesn't mean squandered it's just bragging rights.

Did NCC play Cooper Freshmen this evening at Cooper, after Cooper Varsity practice. Was this individual there for the Freshman game?
