final

Thanks for the updates @GOREDDEVILS.

Congratulations Rams, I look forward to seeing how Russell and Raceland improve as the season goes on heading into the Devils /Rams matchup.

Congrats Rams.

Congrats Rams looked good for the most part. They don't rebuild just reload. Black looked very comfortable throwing and running and the Boyd County transfer played great.

Really thought kinda like Ashland LC lost the game in the first quarter and half and both lost to the better team too. Ashland Raceland going to be really interesting next Friday.

We looked awesome in the first half, 4 scores on 5 drives. Second half started great but a huge penalty was called that negated a beautiful drive. Sideline Hudl is great but it can infuriate you when you can immediately see how horrible the call was and made by the wrong official. That momentum was what got Lawrence County back in the game. If we have that score, the game is over but.......

First off ....thank you GRD for updating, also to LCDawgs and others for the concern. I had a late emergency that ended up a lot better than it could've. My wife was in an accident and thankfully all it will cost us is a tire. She is o.k..

Raceland looked really sharp early on, while taking advantage of some great field position. I thought they were going to run away with it until the Dawgs finally decided to wake up and make a game of it in the 2nd half.

It's just one game, but I think the Rams are going to be just fine this year.

Lawrence County's QB is a sturdy, well built kid. He looks every bit of the 6'2", 225 that he's listed as. They've got two or three stalky, hard running fullbacks, but absolutely no passing game and not a lot of overall team speed. Raceland looked much faster as a team.

This was a strong opening week performance by the Rams.

My Rams surprised me. Much more polished offensively than I expected. Damon looked poised and comfortable and made great decisions. Cam is deadly with the screen, Dalton is sure handed and catches well in traffic, and once the timing is down, Black has a great deep threat in Gunner Lewis, that Sophomore had a great game.

They've definitely got some offensive weapons in Judd and Dalton Adkins, Webb, Lewis, and Black, with his legs and arm. They're not quite Davidson, Walker, and Cherry from last year, but they're on their way. There's a lot of promise there.

I was really impressed with Dalton tonight. He's an all around gamer. The orange and black suits him.

Depth upfront is the issue I see. That and an understanding of the new blocking rules. Good way to start off the season.

Way to go RAMS ! Impressive win, and another HOF Night W !

Was great to come out strong, punching first with 2 "short field" scores. Score was 14-0 before everyone got settled in their seats. From what I gathered, the defense really played well, especially in the first half. With LC's strong line and ground game, they imo will have a good season. The LC kids played hard and didn't quit and are very well coached, the Dawgs will be just fine.

As for the Rams ... I was glad to see that this inexperienced team hung in and made the plays / stops they had to late to secure the Win. There is of course a long way to go to get to where need to be and was great to open up w / the Win.

Great job by all.

and BTW .... LC's QB West along with the FB are for Real !

Speaking of the OL, was that Jake Dixon on the sideline in shorts?
