This thread is not limited to just those but asks you to think about any favorite musician/band from the Bluegrass and maybe give some of your favorite songs performed by those artists. You can list single performers,duos, bands(new or old), any genre, etc...

Formed in 1963 in the city where I used to live, Richmond, KY , this band had 11 #1 hits. This song wasn't a number one, but it's one of my favorites. This one features Sonny Lemaire singing lead. JP, LT , and SL are still going strong and singing better than ever.

 

I actually had a PM conversation with Exile's Keyboard player Marlon Hargis last night. He said one of his favorite deep cuts was this song. It has a definite 80s feel to it.

They did another medley of five songs they wrote for other artists that become #1 songs, including Janie Fricke's "it ain't easy being easy."
