August 17, 20179 yr Shoulda never even got to that point. Zobrist was clearly jumping out of the way on that HBP strike. Oh well. A win is a win at this point.
August 17, 20179 yr Votto streak maybe coming down to last bat. Has hit one to the wall for an out and a line drive to the pitcher. Single in first. After the almost home run and line shot to the pitcher, you just kind of knew it wasn't happening, but then he would have been coming to the plate in the 10th and then Wood happens. Damn, i was really wanting Joey to get this one

August 17, 20179 yr Author Shoulda never even got to that point. Zobrist was clearly jumping out of the way on that HBP strike. Oh well. A win is a win at this point. He was still offering at it. Just like when a guy is moving out of the way and fouls one off on accident.
August 17, 20179 yr Why's that? Because he's twice the player Rizzo could ever dream to be.....:lol2:
August 17, 20179 yr How did it end? Wood throws a 59 foot slider into the left-hander's batter's box. Tucker slid over to block it, but with that spin and his angle...it shot off down towards the Reds dugout. Sort of like how they lost the game a couple nights ago in Milwaukee...only this time without a throw.
August 17, 20179 yr Author How many games are the Reds going to lose on a walk off wild pitch? Two so far. I'd guess probably zero more.
August 17, 20179 yr Not me. I can't stand Votto. If he played for the Cubs, I bet you would adore him!!!
August 17, 20179 yr Only the Reds can finish a game like that crap. Second time this week. Oh, and not just the Reds. The Cardinals lost the same way last night.
August 17, 20179 yr Author Winker .273 AVG .368 OBP .777 24 games 2 HR 8 RBI Has he earned the majority of starts once Schebler is ready to come back? I'd stick him in the 1st or 2nd spot and let him hit the rest of the year. We know what we have in Billy Hamilton at this point and he's not a lead-off hitter unfortunately.
