I am still trying to absorb the scrimmage.

 

I thought Ryle looked better than the score indicates, especially early in the scrimmage. Ryle has two problems, they don't pass very well and their pass defense was nearly non-existent.

I agree, the Trinity QB looks like he is going to be a real player for the Rocks.

How did the Freshman game go up on the hill.

Well if 52-0 in 3 quarters isn't impressive I don't know what else they could have done. As I said, it is what it is. Ryle doesn't have to be ashamed of anything, Trinity is on a different level than 95% of the teams in the state.

I didn't see @theguru and therefore didn't meet @Footballforever74 either. Then I struck out completely because I went to the press box to meet @Fear the Nation and he wasn't there. Turns out he was down on the sideline just before the game started. I did see him come up and talk to his wife but I didn't bother him then because the game was about to start and I figured he needed to be ready with the video camera. Next time FeartheNation. BTW, Kyle looked good out there. He will learn from the best in NKY this year and then be ready to carry the load next year.

 

As has been mentioned, Trinity is impressive with loads of talent. Ryle will be tough to beat in NKY but won't put up near the points they did last year. LB Jackson Saladin played really well. He even had to cover Rondale Moore on a few occasions. He had pretty tight coverage on one play and Moore caught the ball any way. But Saladin did well.

How did the Freshman game go up on the hill.

 

I didn't see the game but talking with a Ryle parent of a freshman Trinity scored almost every time they had the ball. Ryle scored once at the very end of the scrimmage. It was tough going for the young Raiders but they kept working hard.

 

The boys from Louisville have quite the organization. Talent top to bottom, organized, and hustle.

 

Just one off-handed observation, their DBs hit the receiver on every play. They don't give them a second chance to make a play on the ball.

While Trinity never suprises me, that's an amazing point differential.

 

Ryle is one of the better teams in NKY and they will have a great season.

 

Trinity's deep rooted program is just too much for most teams!

You missed the party, I hung out with @Footballforever74 @THS2011 @thsrocks and Trinity President Dr. Mullen along with a lot of other super knowledgeable Trinity fans.

Sorry we missed the party....shamrockchamp and I were in attendance as well....My take on the scrimmage was that T has some work to do in the running game and Ryle needs work on passing and pass defence.....The big thing is no-one got injured and now the teams can watch film and improve
