Thoughts

I would move Krumrie down to 10 and Breech out of Top 10.

Krumrie deserves #3. 100 tackles a year by a NT/DT.

Corey Dillon is absolutely a top 10 Bengal. He's the best RB in franchise history.

Love me some Corey Dillon, but Brooks was better...imho!

Love me some Corey Dillon' date='but Brooks was better...imho![/quote'] No way. Look at the numbers and the players around them. Dillon ran behind horrible O lines, zero QB play, and just on God-Awful. Brooks ran behind one of the best lines in the league, had a MVP QB, and played for a team that went to the Super Bowl. No comparison.

And if brooks runs behind the same line,he puts up the same,if not better numbers because he caught the ball out of the backfield...better than Dillon. Imo. Look,we can go back and forth all day, bottom line,we aren't going to change our opinions.....lol!!!

To me,they are both top 10 guy's. We can agree,to disagree. No problem!!! As i have said,i like the debate!

James Brooks wouldn't have never gotten a chance to show off his receiving skills with the qbs Dillon had. The majority of Dillons years they didn't even have good wrs. Then they had people like Akili Smith, Gus Ferotte, Scott Mitchell, throwing the ball. Teams would have keyed on Brooks and took both the running and passing game away from him because there was no other threat for the defense to worry about.

Agreed! However he doesn't get the credit he deserves because the teams were so bad. While Brooks seems to get more credit mainly because people think more fondly of players on teams that win.

Corey Dillon was Adrian Peterson before Adrian Peterson imo. He showed what he could do once he had a qb. He ran for over 1600 yards and he wasn't even in his prime anymore.

Futurecoach, point taken. But we will never know! Thanks for the back and forth. Take care.

Lol Corey Dillons best season was with NE. Dillon ran the ball behind Olinemen Willie Anderson, Rich Braham, Mike Goff, Rod Jones, Matt O'Dwyer. Peter Warrick, Danny Farmer, Ron Dugans and TE Tony Mcgee was catching passes.

Yes and he wasn't even in his prime anymore and look what he did when he finally had a qb when he went to New England. Dillon definitely was the best Bengals back ever. James Brooks was good, and thought of more fondly because he played on better Bengal teams. However Dillon is probably a hall of fame running back if he played for anyone else.

I'd have Curtis and maybe Pickens ahead of CC. No doubt I'd have Riley ahead of Fulcher. I've always thought Fulcher was overrated. The comparisons to Lott are laughable.

Bob Johnson and Tommy Casanova would at least be honorable mention. Max and Willie were darn good also.
