Arbitrator upheld the six games, however Elliot will play week 1.

When McAdoo was asked about preparing for Elliot he said "all running backs run the same when theres nowhere to run"

You want a victim of domestic violence arrested because she didnt talk to police? She doesnt have to talk to police. No one does...

How do they know she is a victim if she doesnt talk to police?

Was she a victim? If she is then Elliott needs to be out of the league. But there is a large amount of evidence to realistically assume this was a giant plot to destroy Elliott's career. I know we have become more educated recently about attacking a victims credibility in DV cases. But there is evidence to suggest that her level of credibility should be taken into question. Its a rare circumstance, IMO.
According to who? standard practice for police or private companies?

The NFL. They have historically placed witnesses under oath in these investigations.

What do you want her charged with? You can't charge someone for not talking to police. This isn't Nazi Germany.

Unless you are 100% certain shes lying, there's no reason to charge her. And she can lie, as long as she isn't doing it to get him in trouble criminally...

To quote The Longest Yard:

Paul Crewe:There's no way that could hold up in court.

Warden: Court? Hell, boy, in Allenville, I'm the judge, I'm the jury, and in your particular case, I'm the executioner.

I'm not saying charge her without evidence. But it is certainly reasonable based on the evidence that her credibility should be severely questioned.

The NFL isn't held to the same standards as a criminal court, nor should they be imo.

Why is Elliot getting the benefit of the doubt when Rice, Josh Brown and others are universally hated?

Just what I read a couple weeks ago when this was initially discussed. Maybe whoever wrote the article I was reading was wrong.

And in a court room he'd likely beat the charges. The NFL isn't a court room.

Because there is evidence to suggest that Zeke is innocent or at the very least there is no burden of proof in this case. This was not the case with Rice and Brown.

I googled it and couldn't find anything.

Ok, but why was he suspended 6 games when Josh Brown only got 1? The same DV policy was in place when Brown was suspended. Its just getting applied in this situation. But when you examine the cases, Brown admitted guilt. While Zeke certainly doesn't have to admit guilt to be punished, there certainly should be a reasonable burden of proof in order to punish Zeke 6 games when Brown was suspended 1. I don't see how anyone who looks at this case completely unbiased could say Zeke is definitively innocent or guilty.
