They return some really good football players.

Conner returns a massive D1 recruit Peyton Knippenberg 6'4 305 pounds. They have some good skilled players also. Jaylen Watkins and Matt Simpson return as receivers. Cooper Gullion will probably start at qb.

Simpson impressed me last season, the kid is electric. We'll get to see them out of the gate this season.

I agree regarding Simpson. He stood out when they played Boone.

 

Does Conner play guys on both sides of the ball? Last season Soph Aiden Camp got in at RB at Boone. In the past, he was a heck of a LB too. Just wondered if he would be doing both this year.

I would be very surprised if the Hicks kid is not the QB this year! Kid was electric last year as a freshman and I would think gives them the best chance to win. Unless he is playing WR, he is the future for sure

As good as Hicks was last year for them on the freshman level. Cooper Gullion was even better on the freshman level two years ago imo. It should be a nice battle for that qb spot.

Could've just been a bad game but Hicks got roughed up pretty bad by Highlands freshman team if I remember correctly. 3 INT's and I believe they pulled him and the other starters early in the fourth.

 

I think having competition brings out the best in each kid and will give you a chance to see who really wants it. Sounds a like fun summer ahead over in Hebron. Good luck to all the boys!

I remember Webster from pee wee football. Very fast and hard runner.
