That is correct. I updated the scrimmage schedule a while ago. A coach confirmed it.

I'm guessing scrimmages don't count or maybe because school hasn't started yet?

My guess is that starters go hard against Cooper for a specified amount of time (much less than 4 quarters) and then don't see much action against Scott which is not on the regular season schedule.

 

Otherwise, that seems to me like a lot of competitive action with only one day of rest. But if back ups receive a lot of the playing time, it ain't so bad.

I don't know who the 10th game is though.

I would love to see Boone and Lloyd play each other again. It would be good for both schools. They have not played since 1988, the Juggs have not beat Boone since 1976. Lloyd's coaching staff are Boone guys, it would be a nice fit.

I believe the Cooper/Boone scrimmage will be 2-3 quarters of varsity, 1 quarter JV and 1 quarter freshman if I hear correctly

Looking on the KHSAA scoreboard....Simon Kenton's roster was in the 90s last season, Ryle's was in the 80s, and then Campbell, Conner and Cooper's were each in the 60s.

 

A roster in the 40s is low by most any 4A, 5A or 6A team's standard.

How many players do other 6A schools have?

 

SK and Ryle both have around 90.
