The argument for banning alcohol and keeping pot illegal

Featured Replies

I do not have an argument for this stance at all. But the Trevon Blueitt thread got derailed so I figured we could carry that conversation over to here since some members feel strongly about it.

@Mike Baxter if you'd like to continue our conversation here is the forum.

Just for the record, I am okay with alcohol remaining legal, just don't think they need to legalize marijuana. I'm not a fan of alcohol but I do know it'll never be illegal.

I will say for the 100th time I'm for legalizing everything and allowing consenting free adults to make their own choices. If that ruins their lives or leads them to a life of crime so be it. But I do not think.comsumption should ever be a crime.

There's no argument. Case closed.

Guess you haven't witnessed all the drug babies that've been born the past decade, our government screwed up by allowing alcohol. They don't need to make the same mistake twice with marijuana.

So you didn't explicitly say it should be banned, but it should have never been made legal. Same difference.

Anyone who hates alcohol doesn't sound like much fun.

I've known people who don't drink who can have a great time, but they are usually life of the party type people who don't need alcohol to become the loudest person in the room.

I just don't agree with it because of the effects it has on the body, that goes for anything not just alcohol.

I'm one of those people who don't need alcohol to have a good time.

It has glorious effects.

This x 1000....All about personal freedoms and responsibility.

Which do you think is worse for the human body, alcohol or marijuana?
