Maybe. I didn't see it, but some folks suggested to me that this past Wrestlemania dragged on for far too long.

I think it would be a horrible idea. We already had the Preshow on top of an extra long show and then you have Raw and Smackdown the next two nights.

I think the WWE is getting into NFL over-saturation territory.

Terrible idea.

So fans now are going to have to plan 2 nights for the event.

If WWE does it, I think it will be because of the $$$ but they also have to becareful and not to burn out their fans. I'm not sure they can come up with enough storylines for a 2 night show.

The fans is what pays WWE and pays their wrestlers...

Other than that, I think it's a horrible idea...

Yep, that's what the WWE needs, even more show to fill with content and storylines they don't have.

At current, they have five hours of prime programming a week. Compare that to the dominance of the Attitude era when they compressed all of that into 2 hours of RAW, which made it a must-watch, and also meant that they didn't over-saturate their storylines.

They now have seventeen PPV events. SEVENTEEN. Add those things together and you have way, way too much programming as it is, which doesn't allow the storylines to properly build and it doesn't allow for the same quality of storylines because they're burning through so much. They have more PPVs because of the brand extension, but that doesn't change the fact that they're still having to write storylines and use storylines that could be better used and not burned off as quickly.

And now they want to add even more on top of Wrestlemania? They can't program it properly AS IS.

Agreed on all points.

The main show was slightly over 5 hours in length, not counting the pre-show.

I do think Raw should go back to 2 hours. Stop with all the trash talk that takes up 15-20 minutes per segment and have more matches.

And all honesty, I'm getting tired of Sheamus/Cesaro, Enzo/Cass, Anderson and Gallows all fighting for the tag titles every night.

One night is too much.
