How was the decision made to make their home field on Route #8? Does or has anyone else used it as their home field?

 

Because having the Baseball field on Route 8 fits in nicely since their Soccer field is right next to it.

I thought NCC was given a really good deal on the land at Morscher Sports Complex.

Suggest that they add insect repellent at the concession stand.

I bet they would sell a ton at baseball and soccer games.

We beat CovCath one game up there 22 or something to 18 in 1998. Pure craziness

 

My junior and Senior year combined, we lost only 1 game at NewCath...score was 3 -2, the most any team scored on us there was 7 runs...That was right as the Hill was starting to fall away...Left was still 300 then with at 20 ft fence... Having Doug Losey two time player of the year as the Ace helped a bunch, but Rick Noll (Xavier) and a few others faired pretty well up on the Hill as well... Great memories...

We (Highlands) were involved in a bench-clearing brawl my senior year up on the hill. It was crazy! Funny thing was, several of us played on the same summer team!!! So you had to pick and choose who to go after! LOL!
