March 13, 20179 yr Was dragged to this movie by Mrs C1 and walked away very impressed. Well done film and a very good compliment to the book. A word of warning in advance you may need not one but two handkerchiefs...

March 14, 20179 yr Saw it on Saturday night. Wife had read the book but I had no idea of story. Really moved me. I grew up in a regular church going family. As an adult, not so much. The father scene rocked my world (you can understand if you recall my story). I am able to forgive him now. Tears coming again as I type this. I have never been more moved by a film in my life.

March 15, 20179 yr How was Tim McGraw in it? Good for the part he played as best friend of the main character. He's done a good job with everything that I've seen him in, starting with Friday Night Lights. Indian Outlaw has some acting skills.
March 15, 20179 yr It scored an 18% on Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer. That was taken from 38 reviews. That doesn't always mean a lot, though. Some of the better movies I've seen haven't been highly rated by critics.

Some of the better movies I've seen haven't been highly rated by critics. These type of movies never seem like they get a good score on there. I usually don't even look at the ratings for any movie.
