Agreed. Drakeford played fearless. It will be fun to follow him. A lot of talented freshmen in the 12th right now and he is definitely one of them.

 

I don't know how many boards that Gillis had but he had a ton of timely rebounds and was a huge presence rebounding that Rockcastle County could never counter.

Grayson Blevins only scored 5 points but I feel like he made a big difference tonight with his defense, hustle and heart.

I will absolutely miss watching this kid play! Last year he hardly saw the floor in varsity and played every minute of every Jv game with the same intensity! Fun athlete to watch, no matter the sport!

I saw Rockcastle County play a couple of times this year and their lack of size, beyond Gentry, was certainly a problem. Mix in the fact that Gentry is more of a perimeter presence and if the Rockets aren't hitting shots, they probably weren't going to beat a really good team. All of that said, however, they had a very solid senior class that will be very tough to replace.
