Never really close after the 1stQ. Schrand was held in check all night. Houston and Volpenhein played smart and tough.

 

To beat CovCath, is going to be a tall-task for anyone. They play hard on every possession.

Could be Meinze's high especially since he don't see the floor very much. All 7 of those points came in 5 minutes. Also had 2 maybe three rebounds.

Best group Schrand put on the floor came early in the fourth. Add houston in the mix and you have something. Nolan Schrand scoreless and only five in Thursdays game. How many did he have against Cov Cath first time they met? 5 I beleive. Yet in these games he still played more minutes than anyone. No threat to score, why not try something else? HC gets out rebounded every game. With Meinze on the floor with Barnes and Houston, that doesn't happen. Schrand never learned a thing this season about his team. Didn't take long to figure him out though.
