June 15, 20179 yr Took my mom's cutting board, along with some books and other stuff to ship to my parents yesterday. Had things just sort of sitting in a box that was going to be too small to ship them in. So, the lady behind the counter came out and we pulled everything out so she could get a better idea of how big of box we'd need to pack it correctly. When she pulled out the cutting board, she went on and on about how nice it looked and asked if we had made it. When we said we had, the first thing she asked was "Do you do tables?" I was sort of surprised by this, and said "Beg your pardon". She repeated then, asking if we did tables. Apparently she thought our design would work well if we did something about 3 times the length of the cutting board, and put legs on them. She said it'd look perfect behind a sofa. When I told her we didn't...she said, well maybe we should. Knowing what we had to do just to make the cutting boards, my son and I got a good laugh after we left. He said, "You're gonna need a bigger shop." Roy Scheider couldn't have uttered it any better. :lol2:
June 24, 20179 yr Made this one for Relay For Life team to raffle off a couple of weeks ago. Made this 15 Star by 15 Stripe "Kentucky Flag" for a cousin that is a Judge. Arranged the stars the same as the Star Spangled Banner from Fort McHenry. They are both about 36" wide.

Each one I make, I learn a little more to make them either better or quicker. I've made about a dozen so far all have been for friends, family or charity...one of these days I may actually sell one :lol2:
