I don't think they know what it means to quit on a game in Wayne county. Good job by the Rebels to head off the rally!

Reese Smith stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

 

Baby J had 14 points on 4-5 from the floor and 6-6 from the free throw line.

 

Grant Hotchkiss had 8 points and 5 rebounds.

Jackson Baker had 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Wayne County.

 

Aubrey Weaver had 10 points and 5 rebounds.

 

Clayton Shelton had 8 points and 4 rebounds.

 

Stetson Simpson had 6 points and 4 rebounds.

 

Kameron Gehring had 7 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

Boyle County had 2 turnovers in the first half and finished the game with 12 turnovers. I wouldn't be surprised if at least 8 of them came in the 4th quarter. It's like they forgot the game was 4 quarters and assumed it was over when it was 57-39 Boyle County after 3 quarters. Wayne County outscored Boyle County 33-20 in the 4th quarter. Lackadaisical ball handling, mental lapses, bad decisions and failure to match Wayne County's intensity in the 4th quarter almost cost the Rebels this game.

Nice 12th Region win for the Rebels. Best 3 quarters they have played in awhile. Gotta learn to finish them off when you got em down.

Not sure on the details of the injury but I think it's a game-to-game decision.

Hated it for him on Sr. Night. I thought he was walking pretty gimpy.

I knew when he walked out on the court they were in trouble....kid was dribbling between his legs and could handle the ball. Good for him!
