As I've said many times, I hope we as a nation, and by extension, I and my family, do well by the POTUS. From what I've seen so far, that ain't happening. By definition, many of his successes will not align with what I believe to be in our best interests. When they do, I will give credit.

 

So, will I get a chuckle out of some of the little foibles like this one? Sure I will. Do I have stronger feelings about the disasters such as DeVos and will I comment on them? Absolutely.

 

And do I wish the best for us and ours? And if "rooting for the POTUS to fail" is in line with what I personally believe is best for us and ours? You bet!

Correct. It is not unusual to nominate people that can't pass muster. Therefore nominating a person that can't pass muster is not a character flaw of the President, although that is what is being presented by the left-wing whiners.

Sorry to break this news to everyone on the left and the right, things just aren't that different no matter who is in charge. Both sides like to whine and point fingers. The thing I'm finding almost humorous at this point is how interchangeable the words Obama/Trump, Democrat/Republican, radical right/liberal left have become in so many posts pointing fingers at the other side.

We can agree on this. My perception of the BGP politics forum, considering almost every thread in this forum was created and designed to bash Trump, is that Trump supporters have to be on the defensive.
