It seems like Jones is content with dating both Bama and OSU for as long as possible. OSU is his public girlfriend at the moment, but he's been showing more attention to his side piece recently to the point where his feelings have grown very strong for Bama. I can't help but compare this situation to Triston Wallace and Dwayne Haskins, but it's probably not as apples to apples as it would appear from the outside.

That is the expectation. He’s been committed a long time like Walker was. I don’t always like the super early commits. Sometimes, I think it’s best for kids to look at all options, then decide unless their Ohio born.

It's hard to turn down that kind of connection. But the fact that he stayed committed to OSU for so long in the first place is a tribute to what Larry Johnson is doing. My only hope is the ridiculous part of our fan base understands the allure of playing with your boys leaves him alone and wishes him well.
