Very happy for Zac Jennings and JT Schaefer on making the all tourney team from Cooper and St Henry. That is very cool! They are very nice young men and I look forward to watching how they and their teammates develop over the next few years.

I agree. JT Schaefer is a great kid and I hadn't heard of Zac before so it's nice to see some new kids. You see the usual suspects but its nice to see some fresh faces too. I really think getting an award like this can help a young man so much with confidence and growth.

Zac comes from a great family (they aren't from here..I know...a NKY family that isn't 3 generations in the area...weird) and is a very hard-worker.

Almost forgot to mention, the success Matt Stevens has had since taking over as frosh coach is unprecedented. He has a lot of talent to work with, but still got to get them to play as a team.

You do know my 7 yr old could've coached those boys and won that tourney. I think the coach of 1992 USA Dream Team had a good coach too. Wait did that team actually have a coach? LOL jk.

 

Matt is clearly getting the most out those boys and the CCH program is doing great and rolling down hill for sure. Congrats boys. Well deserved!

I mean seriously CCH gets a NKy Catholic 8th grade all star team every year to work with. The past few years they have even gotten some Cincy kids also.. The CCH coaches do a good job but it's not like the cupboard is bare..
