I'm not disagreeing, but does it really matter? CovCath is a heavy favorite this year. If somebody is going to beat them, does it matter if they beat the Colonels in the second round or the championship game?

Agreed but then again as a coach y really worry about winning games during the season if it doesnt help with seeding I guess your better off just to play all your players and try to develop them for the coming years

Dixie frosh is a good team but the walk to the ship. I don't think they beat anyone with a winning record

Very true their side was weak. But it's freshman and it should be more about development. Cov cath has done a nice job with the tournament.

That's what I said earlier as a coach in frosh y worry about a winning season just play all your players and develop them. It doesn't help having a winning season if all names r put in a hat and drawn out.

For fun? I think the kids enjoy playing in the tourney and a lot of these kids won't be on JV/varsity rosters next year. It's a nice reward to close out the season.
