You are good at making things up. I didn't demand anything. I asked a question.

And sure, you can ask why I disliked your post. And I can answer...or not.

Just kidding...I didn't like your post and expressed my opinion. You told me i was allowed to,...

Definitely not salty because Hillary is #notmypresident .

She's not mine either. :lol2:

Dislike mine back. It won't hurt my feelings.

And then the Snowflake generation will finally create the socialist utopia that nobody else in the history of the world has ever managed to build. They will do so right after they strengthen the Endangered Species Act to allow unicorn populations to recover.

I agree with this. But how did we get to this point with a generation of American citizens? Why would we even be considering some of the Socialist things alot want? I guess thats whats so hard for me to get. How about working for what you get? Thats become a novel idea.

She's not mine either. :lol2:

Thank God!

Okeedokie. :lol2: I'll reply too. And I'll ask questions too. America is great!

We agree on one thing. America is great!

My generation (whatever it is, I fall at the tail end of the Gen Xers) and those just older and younger than me are no less politically divided than our forebears.

But whenever I hear about younger generations feeling entitled, I have to laugh. No generation has ever taken as much credit for things they didn't do than the boomers, who took endless satisfaction in the America created following a period of unmitigated global disaster in the first half of the twentieth century then have done as little as possible to ensure this country's greatness would endure.

The worst thing that the Baby Boomer generation has done is to set so many bad examples and failed to properly educate later generations. The baby boomers have dug a deep hole for the snowflakes, but there is no indication that the snowflakes have any intention of calling off the big dig, nor is there any indication that they are capable of solving the serious problems that they will face in the future.

I can't argue with you on a lot of that. Whatever "snowflake" behavior there is, it didn't come from nowhere. The boomers had good jobs, inexpensive secondary education, and relative security at home. They took it for granted. That has led us, inexorably, here.

I have plenty of dislikes for things I've posted. I just assume the person doesn't agree with me, which is known to happen from time to time. That is their prerogative. At least, for now we still have the right to hold and express our own views.

When people dislike this, well...

I don't really dislike what you are saying though. I just disagree. For me, the dislike feature is for things I find wholly objectionable or offensive, not merely something I don't agree with. I make the assumption that people using the dislike feature on my posts merely disagree, but maybe they do find me offensive and objectionable. It's an interesting thing to ponder that I never considered.

Thank God!

:lol2: I am not at all thanking God for President Trump. :lol2:

You're welcome, Ma'am, I am just paying forward all of the dislikes that PP92 and others gave me over the past couple of days. He started a trend.

An interesting topic, and one that I thought about a lot when the "like/dislike" feature was implemented. I said at the time that I would never dislike a post. I've held to that, because I think it's silly to dislike a post over a matter of opinion.

That being said, you bring up a valid point about offensive/objectionable posts. There have been a few that have had me hovering on the "thumbs down".:lol2:
