August 24, 20179 yr Author Louisville rolls again. 5-0 over Harrisburg. That's 20 goals over the last six games. City now tied with Charlotte at the top of the table with two games in hand. Tough run-in remains with games against Charlotte, Charleston, and two games against Rochester.
August 24, 20179 yr Author Starting left wing back Kyle Smith started his three game suspension last night. Really foolish shove in the dying moments of last weekend's game against Bethlehem. Didn't matter last night but he's been a huge part of the offense in this 3-4-3 formation O'Connor has hit on this season. We'll see what O'Connor comes up with in the two tougher games of this suspension period.
August 29, 20179 yr Author Massive game scheduled for this weekend because the USL and USSF don't believe in observing the international break. Louisville and Charleston, Nos. 1 and 3 in the East, will play without major portions of their squads. Charleston's leading scorer Romario Williams was called into the Jamaican team. Louisville's Speedy Williams was also called to Jamaica and Mark-Anthony Kaye was called into the Canadian National team to play against Jamaica.

October 15, 20178 yr Author As UofL athletics crumbles under the weight of its sins, I'm thankful to have a pro sport in town that seems to be well-run and gives me something to do on weekends. Louisville City FC won its regular-season finale last night, beating Richmond Kickers 3-1. Lou City now waits for the result of a game this afternoon to determine whether it will host Bethlehem Steel FC or New York Red Bulls II in Friday's Eastern Conference Quarterfinal at Slugger Field. FC Cincinnati awaits the same match to determine whether they'll finish sixth and travel to Florida to play the Tampa Bay Rowdies, or finish seventh and head to Carolina to take on the Charleston Battery. Between you and me, I didn't want any part of a Louisville/Cincinnati rivalry game in the first round of the playoffs, 8-seed or not. Very happy to see FCC nab that late win last night.
