Tough two weeks for the Cards. Devils continue to survive.

I knew this would be a battle. Congrats to HC.

A shootout like expected. Scott County has had a couple tough loses the past two weeks. I wouldn't be surprised to see these two meet again in November. Anyone back from the game yet with details?

Heard a HC receiver had 5 TD catches and it wasn't Minnifield.

Clark Jeter. Probably the best receiver in the state you've never heard of.

Jeter is the real deal. Look for him to sign with a major D1 team. His size, athleticism and alot of quickness are to much for alot of average high school players to overcome. Good kid and student he will be playing some serious college ball.

Clark Jeter was credited with 10 receptions for 209 yards and 5 touchdowns. His scoring receptions were for 95, 23, 8, 12, and 19 yards. The 19 yard reception came with 1:24 on the clock to give Henry Clay the victory.

Did the defenses forget their cleats?

What a game

Henry Clay wins for the second straight week on a come-from-behind touchdown in the last minute. This is not very good football, in my opinion.

The fans enjoy it in August, September, October. It does not win games in November against Louisville teams.

Is Mike Major coordinating Henry Clay's defense?

Make sure and nominate him for player of the week. That's some kind of performance by a guy whlo always seems to come through.

I know Coach McKee is going crazy that his team has found ways to turnover the ball at the worst time of the game. Talikn about atmosphere for a big time high school game. This one had it. If the Cardinals can stop fumbling the football they will be tough to handle by anyone. With Haddix ineligible. James with a torn ACL and Mackey concentrating on basketball the Cardinals are still loaded with talent without these three.

Clark Jeter is BY FAR the best ALL-AROUND receiver at Henry Clay...and they have TWO OTHER legit D-1 receivers.

I hope a technique-perfect kid like that gets as much notice by the next level guys as the guys with "name-connections" on his team.
