Good effort tonight Hounds!

I'll be nice, i am trying really hard to do that this year:D

i was not saying anything neg. towards them....but who do they have next week?

Sean Nolan best defense of the year .way to go Nolan

Nolan must to of had 12 to 15 tackles

Dudley was heard on a Bourbville Radio Station sayin that Corbin's program wasn't too good. Wander what he thinks about it now!!!???

Dudley never said that Corbin didnt have a good program. He did say however, from what I understand, that if Corbin wants to consider themselves a great program and an elite program that dropping Bell from the schedule was basically a contradiction.

Corbin played their tales off and really had a good defense I felt like. They also didnt give up when they got down.

Once again Bell continues to shoot themselves in the foot throwing interceptions at the goal line and fumbling at the goal line. Bell is making way too many costly mistakes right now at this point.

First of all I want to congratulate the Bobcats on a hard fought win. You all have a good team up there on Log Mountain.

I must say that I was impressed with Corbin tonight. I'll admit that I've seen middle schools do better on offense than Corbin did in the first half but they came to play after the break. That was the offense that we were all expecting. When Corbin finally started protection and puts that ball in the air behind Cashen's golden arm, they are dangerous like tonight. Madon, Sewell, and Sanders all made beautiful catches tonight. Hopefully the O will continue to play like they did in the second half for the remainder of the year.

The Redhound D was very impressive tonight. Take away those first two drives where big yardage was gained and I'd go as far as saying Corbin's D whipped the Bobcats O up and down the field. With that said, Bell has a fine offense and mixes it up nice.

As for the final possession for Corbin. In real time when watching it, I was thinking, Are you kidding me? Playing for overtime is one thing but not trying to advance the ball out of the shadows of the goalpost to punt is another. I think a hot pass for 10 yards and we still may be playing. However, I'm not going to second guess the call after letting it sink in. The Defense is the strong point of the team and they were given the reins. For the most part they held but one mistake got them. That was when the backers let the man get behind them on that pass. Nothing that can't be fixed. I came away impressed. I'll give the hounds a B- tonight. It would be much higher but the first half was a little bland. 2nd half effort was A+.

I do think the Hounds have seen the light and will be ready to get back to playing Corbin Football and that means getting wins. I know a lot of people, so which are big names and some that are average Joe's are none to happy with the direction of the program and even ashamed. They are getting antsy but I think tonights game will simmer them down some and rightfully should. Look for a lot of the badmouthing to quit over the next two weeks.

Corbin came out a little bit intimidated at the beginning and let Bell drive down the field on the first drive. Once the Hounds settled down and realized that they could play with he Bobcats, they more than held their own. The second TD for Bell was set up by the great INT by Slusher and Bell only had to go 15 yards for that TD.

I thought the kicking game was the key to bell's win as Corbin started way too many offensive possessions at the 20 or inside their own 20. The other key is Corbin's DB's missed 3-4 good opportunities for INT's by not playing the ball, including the last one that set up the FG, which looked like 2 Corbin players could have either knocked it down or intercepted it.

Good effort by Corbin though and they seem to be get better each FRiday.

Slusher is my nephew. I take it he had a good game? I live in Florida, so I didn't see it obviously.

I really felt like Bell missed a lot of great opportunities in this one. The pick inside the 10 yard line was costly. Then Bell fumbled inside the 2, which really hurt. Another big play was in the 3rd quarter when Corbin jumped offsides, but did get back in time and Bell hiked the football and ended up losing 8 yards.

Bell WR's made to of the best highschool catches Ive seen. Fist Zachery took the interception from a Corbin DB for an amazing catch! And then Chase Ely #87 caught a slant pass that was way behind him with his left hand. THose catches were amazing!
