Miss Hempstead would be so proud.

Ha, glad to hear you knocked the rust off a few of the sprockets, cranks and pulleys up there.

Well Rey has the whole "unknown origin" bit going for her, so there's no telling with her. But Luke and Leia are also still involved in the scenario, and besides Luke being the only confirmed Jedi Master in existence, Leia also has been noted to have the Force strong in her blood.

Not only that, but Leia has also already had one child in the story-line of the movies, Kylo Ren. She and Han Solo also had three other children in various plots within the Star Wars expanded universe. There's a lot of potential there for high Midi-Chlorian counts.

I know we are going to find out in this episode, but I really think Rey is not a Skywalker. I think it would be too obvious. There is going to be a Kenobi lineage come about I feel like, if that is Rey I'm not sure. I'm totally speculating on that by the way so don't take that as truth.

Do either of you think that Rey's Rebel Pilot Doll is a hint to her parentage.

There are a couple of Jedi still alive in Rebels but we don't know their fate yet. Lot of speculation about them.

Has this already been filmed? Like before Carrie Fisher's death?

Yes, the issue I think will be for the 9th movie. They have to rewrite it someway now.

But if they can CGI Peter Cushing as Tarkin, you'd have to think at least for a couple of scenes they could do the same with her.

I can't remember if they said Carrie Fisher had completed all of her scenes, or if she had only completed most of them...but regardless, a statement was made to that effect at the time of her death.

Basically. I think re-shoots might have happened since her passing.

I'm curious about that. It's a small Easter egg, for sure, but added to the fact that she has an X-wing pilot's helmet, I think it's a definite possibility.

I'd be shocked if the doll and the helmet weren't clues to her parents.

Which has you more curious...

Who Rey really is?

or

Who Snoke really is?

Snoke...and it's not even close.

Rey as I'm fairly certain her parentage will link back to character(s) we already know. I'm not positive Snoke does.
