I didn't mean to rile you. I was trying to define feminism, and also pontificate on what it should be, and share my frustration that women divide themselves when they should be uniting.

I actually think the words sum up quite nicely what these marchers today (all over the world, I might add) are marching for. She definitely added some drama for effect.

I can't speak to her speech because I haven't watched it. She's a UK fan so....

 

It is the empowerment to choose to be a stay at home mom, or pursue a career. Feminism isn't a party platform. It is an empowered movement.

I just don't understand why they are so vile and mean when protesting.

I mean there is a lot of equality between the sexes.

I just don't get the hate they have I guess.
