Antonio Brown Records Tomlin Post Game

Featured Replies

Come on. Let's end this comparison before it starts.

Chad Johnson was great and led the AFC in receiving yards for 4 straight seasons. I think people forgot how darn good he was, because people just remember the side show he became at the end.

Now what AB in the last 4 years is breaking records. However things can change quickly when their focus goes away from football and more into the social world.

You mean aside from the fact that Brown is way more talented than Chad had ever hoped of being? Also, Brown isn't the sideshow that Chad ever was, not even remotely similar.

See post 16. You all forget how good Chad was. At the time Chad set a nfl record for leading the conference in yards 4 straight seasons, no one had ever done that before until him.

AB is better but let's not act like Chad was bad. Before his antics took over he was one of the best in football for 4 or 5 straight years. Chad probably would have had a few more good years but his focus went away from football. He was known as the hardest worker on the team, staying the night at the stadium, etc and stats backed it up. Once his focus went away, his game slipped quick. Just saying AB is slowly going that route in caring more and more about the social world and entertaining. Obviously he is not where Chad got in that area, just slowly going that way.

Nope, didn't forget about anything. Chad couldn't dream of ever being the talent that AB is. Not even in the discussion.

Don't you think Ocho Cuatro has a nice ring to it?

Chad Johnson not as talented as AB? :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Nope. AB is better, no question.

As fc said. You all forget just how great of a player and receiver Chad was. He has the quickest feet of any receiver I've ever seen and probably ever. AB is insanely and probably equally as talented as Chad don't get me wrong. You can debate Chad and AB all you want but neither is very far ahead of the other.

Nope. AB is better, no question.

Correct.

It's not even close.

Nope. AB is better, no question.

That's ridiculous. Go back and watch highlights of Chad play, dude had the quickest feet of any receiver EVER. The dude could get open in a phone booth. Pure talent wise Chad was better. He had quicker feet, he was bigger, and he was faster. AB does the little things better, but he is not more talented. Forget all of the side show crap Chad became that's irrelevant to this conversation.

Man you all are prisoners of the moment.

Man you all are prisoners of the moment.

Or we just aren't Bengals fans viewing it through orange and black glasses....

They're just prisoners of the moment. Chad is top 5 all time as far as pure talent goes. All of the other stuff brings him down and rightfully so, but Chad flat out balled until his ego got the best of him.

Go back and watch. Listen to former players talk about him. Listen to former Steelers and Ravens players talk about him. The dude flat out balled. You can view this as me just being a Bengals fan. But watch his highlights man, Chad (the player) was an absolute stud.

Go look at the numbers. Take their best 5 years and AB beats Ocho in every category. Catches, TDS, yards.

He never caught over 100 balls. AB has what....4 or 5 times?

AB scores more, gets more yards and catches more TDS. What else could he do to be better?
